Website orders will continue to be filled even when the shop is closed. If you would like to order for curbside pick up, we're happy to take your order over the phone or online. If you order online, we will refund the calculated shipping.

We're a cozy store with over 800 bolts of delightful Alaska prints and luscious, versatile batiks. We feature the work of local artisans from around the state and carry many exclusive fabrics, yarns, and patterns by talented Alaskan artists. You can find moose, bear, otter, and salmon prints, along with orca whales and totem poles celebrating Southeast Alaskan culture and traditions. Check out our floral and landscape fabrics for those lovely projects like aprons, pillowcases, and purses. Soak in the radiant rainbow of batiks from Hoffman, Robert Kaufman, Island Batiks, Cotton Classics, Exclusively Quilters, for all your quilt-design dreams.
Our sister store Wooly Mammoth carries Alaska hand-dyed yarns for various projects, including rare musk ox yarn (known locally as “qiviut”, pronounced kiv-ee-oot) form North Pole, Alaska.
